Thoughts about sound

Sound is a critical element to decide a direction to communicate. Image itself cannot complete a story.
I can use sound not only to explain symbol's characteristic but also to broaden experience beyond itself.
I want to combine my objects (mechanical tools) with a sound to produce another context.
I'm not sure but it would be dreamy atmosphere.

First Trial
It has been hard time for me to make just incomplete short motion like this.

Firstly, I'm going to show the basic features of objects I choose.
Secondly, I would like to make unexpected motion while combining objects.
My three personalities are "Practical", "Flexible", "Expressive".
With staples, I'm going to make a movement as if a stapler spit out a flattened staple. It's very practical process.
Also, I'll lengthen and shorten the tape measure to symbolize Flexible.
I want to show Expressive characteristic by spreading and folding a set of Wrenches.
However, I think all three objects are related each other and can represent all three personalities at the same time.

Now, I'm still thinking about the relationship between balance of final figure and its movement.
That means I've not had yet what I really like.
Still founding.......

Ending 1st Project : about sound
It is too late to mention about sound. But I'm going to write something in order to complete the first part of my blogging.
While I had worked with AfterEffect, I realized that sound is tend to define a context.
When I see a movie, if there was not sound, I need to imagine continuasly what is happening.
In contrary, I will not be able to imagine different story after once I watch a movie with a strong sound effect.
In the same way, I had difficulties to make another version after making the first version sound because I already had some preconception that the first version sound generated.
I read it somewhere that people are easily accustomed to sound and consevative.
In this reason, elder people cannot stand to hear a heavymetal.
All in all, sound is really important and I was happy to get this experience.
